The Vaxur province is one of the homes of the Vampire. There are three provinces each contain a single clan. Due to the numbers and their clannish ways they were unable to decide who would be leader of a single clan so were allowed to settle in three separate ones. Vampires are known as the living dead, they do not age or die, immune from illness and disease, interestingly they start life as human, bitten by a Vampire it can draw blood only, turn victim to Vampire or kill depending on the bite itself. Vampires cannot procreate although exceptions can be found (Cailean and Lykaios) Almost indestructible there is very few ways a Vampire can die, sunlight, a few rare poisons and creatures called Hellion are the only known ways. Born from the shadows they became almost civilized as they increased in numbers, possibly due to the human element. Only seen at night they can turn into several animals or mist some of great age can turn into shadows.

The eldest of twins. Both he and his brother are the only two to be born Vampires from a Vampire, how this came about is not known but their ancient scrolls stated this would be. Easy going and fair he prefers to sort out problems by talk rather than action. Although his childhood was unnatural he accepted what he was and is happy in himself. Very fond of his Brother Lykaios he wishes to be closer to him but unable to breach the wall Lykaois has built.

Never accepting his heritage he curses his mother who he calls Whore and wanders the realm with a chip on his shoulder. Unwilling to get close to any one not even his brother he is cold to the point of dangerous. His hatred of all especially the Fae his well known so his attraction to Sorcha is unwelcome and confusing to him.

Taken just a few hours old she was placed in the protection of Vaxur with the agreement of Cailean. A Fae who looked as they she had abilities that far outstretched her own kind. Turning of age she took as they thought seriously ill in fact the Great Mother deemed it time and her appearance changed and powers grew stronger. Now a mix of Fae and Vampire she is the union of both Light and Obscurity and has immense powers including the power of life. Her joining with Lykaois is written and accepted by her....it is a means to an end.

To find a Vampire was to be a father was astonishing but Lykaios felt nothing but anger especially when he found was meant to be. Eirene was destined to born, a child of both light and shadow she also carried the blood of every being in the realm. Her task was set before birth - unit the realm to defeat the Hellion.
Eirene died completing her task as she knew she would, it was her destiny.
