Unlike Vaxur these Vampires live of the blood of the residents of Jajij and detest the thought of drinking animal blood. With a sickness sweeping through the land they have closed there province off to others and hunt in the mortal world for sustenance. To be found on their land is punishable by death, there is no mercy. Mortals that find themselves in their hands are brought into a world of nightmares, thankfully they did not live long.

                                                    

                                                                                     

Vorel....Parents unknown.... Helmer of Drayad.

One of the oldest Vampires to remain and was in the forefront of the great war from the beginning. Having closed his heart centuries ago he rules by fear. With no compassion he kills without thought and will destroy his own people if they disobey. He views all non Vampires as potential meals and all other Vampire's as weak. His closest ally is Tainn a female Vampire that has been like a sister to him but his black heart is slowly turning her against him.

                                                                     

Ella......Parents unknown...... Race unknown,

Taken from the mortal world as food she stabbed one of her captors and brought the attention of Vorel. Now held as his personal concubine Vorel is curious as to why he and no-one else can read her mind and suspects she is not all she seems but Ella refuses to answer any of his questions. Kind and gentle she abhors violence and will do anything to prevent a death, any death. She is fun loving and in some ways  childlike but hides a secret that no one could ever suspect or find out.

                                                                        

                                                                       

Tainn....Parents....thought to be realm nobility before the  great war.  

For a Vampire she has always been a bit soft hearted and hopes to have a friend in Ella if Vorel would stop bullying the girl. Never interested in taking charge she always looked up to Vorel but  has started to dislike his black behaviour. Sick of the death and fear that hangs over her home she thinks it may be time to move on.

He may look frightening and in some ways he is, following orders to the letter he will kill without blinking and enjoys a good fight but inside he is lonely and wishes he could find someone to be is equal, his mate. Taken from the Prylea province as an infant he knows nothing but his life in Drayad and on his twenty fifth birthday was turned to aid in the great war. He may have excepted his life but he longs to know about his birth and his parents.

Zarina Bishop.....Parents Maleah of Clearlyn and John Bishop of Maine (Both deceased)

Zarina finds herself a prisoner of Drayad where she is subjected to terrible treatment, raped and fed from she is close to breaking when she is rescued by Cailean, Helmer of Vaxur. Cailean feels something from her that shouldn't be there in a mortal and Zarina knows nothing of her mother or off the realm. Learning the truth she has to deal with her bond with Jajij her people and try to understand the feelings she has for the Helmer of Vaxur.

Randver...parents Baldr and Unna...Helmer of Grigor.
Although his age is unknown it is believed he was turned between 879 and 881 making him the youngest Helmer of Jajij. From Norway he still lives the Viking way (preferring to be called Chieftain) and although he respects the other provinces he believes in the old Norse Gods. Being Viking he loves nothing better than a good brawl but the time spent in the realm has given him the chance to learn that war is not always the answer. When not dealing with his duties he spends his time reading and because of that has become quite educated.

                                                                     

Burgfinn....parents Fenrir and Kelda....... Sentinel.
One of two surviving Sentinels he is highly trained in all forms of combat and has the ability to even approach another Vampire without their knowledge. Each Vampire province had their own form of sentinels but they were believed to be wiped out during the war. Guessed to be in his twenties he is a close friend if Randver and was turned by him around 910. Little else is known about him as the Sentinels keep a low solitary existence .

                                                                     

Nataliya....parents Grigori and Iolanta....
Of Russian decent she was brought up to believe in three things... Honour is everything, family history must never be forgotten and all evil must die. From a long line of slayers she was taught that all beings exist and has met and destroyed several even coming across the odd Vampire which she despatched with quickly. Ambushed one night she woke to find herself turned into the one thing she hated above all else..Vampire and learned she had been a pawn in someone sick game. As much as she hates them she has little choice but to stay in Grigor and find the one responsible for her life state.
